The FoM Postdoctoral Fellow Peer-to-Peer Workshop Series has been developed to provide more teaching opportunities for Postdoctoral Fellows while simultaneously facilitating Postdoctoral Fellow-directed professionalization activities and peer-to-peer interaction.
Each fall, the GPE Office will solicit proposals from any interested FoM Postdoctoral Fellows to develop and lead a two- to three-hour workshop for their PDF peers on topics that have cross-disciplinary appeal and relevance. Professionalization workshops are particularly encouraged.
Successful applicants will receive a $500 honorarium. We expect to fund up to four workshops this application period.
Eligibility: Only UBC Faculty of Medicine Postdoctoral Fellows may apply, and their hiring status with UBC must be active at the time of the workshop offering.

All proposals will be reviewed by the GPE Office and results of the competition will be made known within two weeks of the deadline. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to a meeting in the GPE Office to make a short pitch about their workshop.
