Message from the Associate Dean
Welcome to the Office of Graduate and Postdoctoral Education in the Faculty of Medicine! We are glad that you are here.
The Faculty of Medicine is home to 21 graduate programs and over 2,000 graduate and postdoctoral trainees. Our graduate students and postdocs play critical roles in the creation of new knowledge that will change how we think about molecular and cellular mechanisms, impact health and affect clinical practice in our society.
The mission of the Graduate and Postdoctoral Education office is to offer informed and holistic direct support and access to resources that enhance trainees’ wellbeing, and professional development, provide community building, enable a variety of career paths, and allow equitable access to award and scholarship opportunities. In collaboration with colleagues in our graduate programs, we aim to enhance nurturing research and learning environments, empowering graduate and postdoctoral trainees in the Faculty of Medicine to thrive.
