Program Overview

Faculty of Medicine’s Graduate and Postdoctoral Education team is pleased to present the Postdoctoral Fellow Peer Mentorship Program (PDPMP). The 10-month peer mentorship program pairs diverse groups of Faculty of Medicine PDFs to discuss relevant professional and personal development topics monthly in mentorship circles. With social events, wellness check-ins, career panels, and leadership training, participants will grow holistically and be part of a collaborative, inclusive community within the Faculty of Medicine. To accommodate off-campus participants, parts of the program will be delivered virtually or hybrid.

The goals of this program are to:

  1. Accelerate the personal and professional growth of early-career PDF through the guidance and nurturing influence of experienced PDF.
  1. Strengthen leadership culture in the Faculty of Medicine by leveraging the diverse lived experiences and skillsets of experienced PDF.
  1. Offer training in and opportunities to advance wellbeing, mental health literacy, and JEDI in PDF and through them, across research teams in the Faculty of Medicine.
